Tubes must have at least one opaque wall to be compatible with the Lambda8. If tubes are completely transparent, the laser beam will go straight through the tube without laser-etching. The Micronic hybrid tubes are compatible, for example, because they have a blank white wall on one side that’s ideal for laser-etching.
