The process of capping and decapping tubes in a laboratory might seem harmless. But when working with small sample volumes, the repetitive opening and closing of tubes without losing seal performance is crucial. Micronic tubes and caps are proven to be the safest choice for maintaining sample integrity during the capping and decapping process. In this tech note, the durability of Micronic 1.40ml screw cap and push cap tubes together with Micronic screw caps and TPE push caps are evaluated by opening and closing the tubes up to 100 times (both manually and electrically).
