A simple, non-invasive way to collect and preserve saliva RNA
The Saliva RNA Collection and Preservation Devices are designed for simple and non-invasive saliva collection and the preservation of RNA in saliva samples at ambient temperatures. Each Saliva RNA Collection and Preservation Device consists of three components: the saliva collection funnel and collection tube, the collection tube cap, and the saliva RNA preservative contained within a sealed squeezable ampoule.
Saliva samples are collected by spitting inside the collection funnel. After collecting the required volume of saliva, the collection funnel is removed and the contents of the preservative ampoule are then added and mixed with the the collected saliva. The saliva collection tube is subsequently sent to a laboratory for RNA isolation and analysis. Saliva RNA in preserved samples is stable for up to 2 months at room temperature.
The saliva RNA collection kit yields high-quality RNA suitable for sensitive downstream applications.
The saliva RNA collection kit is compatible with most RNA isolation methods.
Samples stored in the saliva RNA collection device are stable for up to two months at room temperature.
The RNA collection device can be customized with a company logo, branded documentation, and more.
