For biological samples
The FreezeBox cooling and preservation devices protect biological samples in low temperatures during bench-top use. To quickly cool samples, the FreezeBox™ has an ice core made from aluminum alloys and a metal alloy tube module with high thermal conductivity. These components ensure that all samples maintain a uniform temperature, guaranteeing consistent research results downstream. The FreezeBox™ comes standard with the Ice Core CL (for temperature range of 0.5℃~4℃) and a tube module for 30 2.00ml cryotubes. Different tube modules and ice cores (to achieve lower temperatures) are available upon request.
To use the FreezeBox, start by placing the ice core in an ultra-low temperature refrigerator for several hours. After the core is chilled, place it in the box, put the tube module on top of the core, and then insert your samples. If researchers prefer to use dry ice instead of the ice core, they can remove the core, fill the box with approximately 200g of dry ice, and then place the tube module on top. Note: FreezeBox™ is for bench-top use only. It is not designed to store samples in the freezer.
Different tube modules can be used with the FreezeBox to accommodate 1.50ml, 2.00ml, and 5.00ml cryotubes.
The FreezeBox is lightweight, easy to carry, and easy to assemble. It is highly durable and suitable for frequent and repeated use.
The FreezeBox maintains consistent, uniform temperatures across all samples, ensuring accurate research results.
The FreezeBox is easy to clean and disinfect for repeated use.
