The Micronic EFC (Eco-Friendly Choice) Refill Rack offers an innovative, sustainable and cost-effective solution for modern laboratories. Comprised of a reusable base rack and cover, the system is made from 99% inhouse renewed materials, setting a new benchmark for eco-friendly labware. Designed to fit 1.40ml tubes in a 96-well format, the Micronic EFC Refill Rack supports both internal and external threaded tubes with screw or push caps, making it adaptable to a wide range of applications.

The sustainable materials and design that make the EFC Refill Rack are constructed from polypropylene (PP), a durable material that is not only long-lasting but also very easily recyclable.  This thoughtful design ensures that both the base rack and cover are reusable and easy to recycle, reducing waste in laboratories. Unlike the traditional racks, the EFC system allows labs to reuse the base and cover multiple times, while simply replacing the tube refills as needed. This extends the products lifespan and decreases material consumption.

This certification attests to the products low environmental impact, with the Environmental Impact Factor (EIF) of the EFC Refill Rack rated at 23.9, an improvement over previous products, which had a score of 32.8.
